What documents will you need?

Before you get started, it's best to locate the following documents to make the vessel set-up more efficient.

1. VESSEL DOCUMENTS:

  • General Arrangement

  • Docking Plan

  • Internal Seawater System Diagram or schematics

  • Hull Penetrations or Overboard discharge diagrams or schematics

2. ANTI-FOULING VENDOR(S) SYSTEM DOCUMENTS:

  • MGPS System Drawings

  • Control Panel Drawings

  • AFC Certificates – Paint Company

  • AFC cert – Classification Society

When you're ready to upload reports into the system, these are the suggested reports you may have, and then should upload to auto-populate your record book:

  1. DRY DOCK REPORTS
    Any biofouling-related Reports received from vendors since your last dry dock date

    EG:

    1. Biofouling Specialist DD Reports

    2. Biofouling Cleaning DD Report

    3. Biofouling Inspection DD Report

    4. Anti-fouling Paint Application Dry Dock Reports
      (you might have multiple coating systems applied; need reports for each)

    5. Marine Growth Prevention System (MGPS) Dry Dock Report (if applicable)

      1. Example MGPS Systems:

        • Electrolytic Copper / Aluminum or Iron Anode System

        • Chlorinated System

        • Acoustic Anti-fouling System eg. Ultrasound

        • Biocide Dosing System

2. IN-SERVICE REPORTS

EG:

  • Biofouling in-water inspection Reports

  • Biofouling in water cleaning reports

  • MGPS Repair/Inspection reports done in-service

  • Internal seawater strainer reports

  • Antifouling Coating (AFC) Repair or Touch-up Reports

  • AFC Inspection Reports
