Guide to Adding and Managing Crew Members in ShipCarePro

Accessing Crew Management @ 0:00

  1. Click your profile icon (initials or photo) in the top-right corner.

  2. Select "Crew" from the dropdown to open the crew list.

Add New Crew Members @ 0:11

  1. Click "Add Crew Member."

  2. Enter their first name, last name, and position.

    1. If the position isn’t listed, click "Add New" to create a custom one.

  3. Enter their email address to send an invite, then click "Save.

Assign Vessels and Permissions @ 0:27

  • After adding, their name will appear on the left side.

  • Right-click the triangle next to their name and select "Assign Vessels."

  • Choose their visibility level for each vessel:

    • Vessel Manager: Full access to upload reports, manage plans, and update vessel setup.

    • Crew Member: Can upload and download, but cannot make setup changes.

    • Read-Only: Can view and download only—no uploads or edits allowed.

You can assign different roles for the same person on different vessels.

Adjust Permissions for Specific Vessels @ 1:31

  1. Go to the crew member’s page and right-click the triangle next to their name

  2. Select "Assign Vessels."

  3. Locate the vessel you want to update and click "Unassign."

  4. Select the new visibility level from the dropdown.

  5. Click "Assign" to save the changes.

Unassign Crew Members from vessels @2:20

  1. Go to the crew member’s page and right-click the triangle next to their name

  2. Select "Assign Vessels."

  3. Locate the vessel you want to update and click "Unassign."

Remove Crew Members Permanently @ 2:30

Edit Crew Member Details @2:44

  1. Click "Edit" next to the crew member’s name.

  2. You can update their first name, last name, email, phone number, and add a profile picture.

  3. You can also mark whether they’ve completed biofouling training.

  4. Click "Save" to apply changes.
